About Rosie
Rosie is reimagining care, for families & for caregivers.
We created a new category of care: flexible, on-demand childcare and household support, bookable by the hour, backed by a bench of vetted and professionally trained Pros who know your family. Families finally have a way to get the help they actually need with minimal effort.
We're building the infrastructure that powers modern family life: a world where parents book care the way they text a friend, where caregivers build real careers doing work they're proud of, and where having support at home just feels normal. We're expanding to new cities, and we're just getting started.
The Role
We're looking for a Head of Marketing to own Rosie's brand and growth from the ground up. This is the person who decides what Rosie sounds like, who hears about us, how families and Pros first fall for Rosie & become evangelists.
You'll set the strategy and stay close to the work to know whether it's landing. At this stage, that means you're as comfortable writing the positioning as you are building & reading the funnel. You'll build the brand and the growth engine at the same time, then hire the team that scales both.
We're hiring this as a fractional-to-full-time role. If you're a senior operator who wants to start part-time while you get to know us and the problem, that's a great on-ramp. As Rosie grows, the seat grows into a full-time founding leadership role, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow it with us. Transition into full-time not required.
Who You Are
- Brand builder: You've shaped how a cultural company brand sounds and feels, and you can articulate why a voice works or doesn't. You care about the difference between copy that converts & differentiates, and copy that sounds like everyone else.
- Two-sided storyteller: You get that a marketplace needs two stories at once. The parent booking care at 11pm and the caregiver building a career on our platform hear about Rosie differently, and you can hold both without blurring either.
- Growth operator: You've owned a full funnel and can hold paid, organic, lifecycle, and content in your head at once. You know which numbers matter this quarter and which ones are vanity.
- Still in the work: You've led teams, but you haven't lost the ability to write the ad, brief the designer, or set up the campaign yourself. At this stage the leader ships.
- Category-minded: Rosie is building something families & Pros don't have language for yet. You know how to create demand for a new behavior, well before existing intent shows up in a search bar.
- Calm at seed stage: You make confident calls with partial data, and you create clarity for the people around you instead of waiting for it. You are setting the company & industry standard.
- Founder-aligned: You operate with real ownership. You treat the marketing budget like your own money and the mission like your own.
What You'll Do
- Own brand and positioning: Define how Rosie shows up across every touchpoint, from the homepage to a member’s most recent text. Sharpen the family story and the Pro story until each audience immediately gets it.
- Own the narrative: Be the keeper of how Rosie is talked about in press, on stage, and in the next fundraise. Turn what we're building into a story investors, reporters, and families repeat back to us.
